The 2020 Police Legacy Bicycle Remembrance Bicycle Ride is a virtual ride this year. Usually the ride is from Sydney to Canberra across 3 days in May. Due to COVID, this years event is centred on Sunday 15th November with riders taking part with many rides across the state.
I will be doing two ride to support NSW Police Legacy. One ride of 100km around Centennial Park on Friday 13th Nov, supporting Raff Del Vecchio (Police Bank) and Mal Lanyon (Deputy Commissioner) who are doing 300km on the same day. The other will be with Peloton Events, Bicycle NSW and HKGGs team on a 140km ride out to Wiseman’s Ferry and back. It is likely I will stop early as I am still not to 100% fitness after my injuries from 2019 (Broken Hip and Shoulder) but you never know.
