It points to a westerly direction to capture the prevailing direction of the weather. The webcam image is downloaded every minute. Every 5 minutes an hourly time lapse is made, which is archived on the hour. At 9am, midday, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm a ‘sunrise to sunset’ time lapse is made which is archived daily.
