• 1 in 2 Australian men and women will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.¹
• Cancer is a leading cause of death in Australia - almost 50,000 deaths from cancer are estimated for 2019. ¹
• In 2014, cancer was the second most common cause of death in Australia and accounted for about 3 in 10 deaths.^1,3

In 2019 I am dancing in the Stars of Parramatta to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW. I will be dancing the TANGO with Nicola from Arthur Murray Parramatta. From the launch in May until the dance off Saturday 27th July I have about 8 weeks to learn all the Tango dance steps and perfect my routine with the help of Nicola.

By sponsoring me you will help Cancer Council NSW to fund vital Cancer research and support. I have many family members who have been touched by cancer so you will be helping them along with the 150,000 new cases of cancer set to be diagnosed in 2020.

My colleagues at the Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI), where I work as Head of Operations, will also benefit from your support. CMRI is a beneficiary from multiple Cancer Council NSW grants.
