Had a great day riding today with Garry Robinson of BikeTrail Blog. 50km all up. 10km from Home to Showground Metro via West Pennant Hills Valley to meet Garry. Then we explored a way to get towards Smalls Creek Kellyville, bit of gravel for the road bike – we probably should just have gone up Showground Rd to Green Rd. Anyhow we found the path and had a great ride up and around to Rouse Hill. Seeing what a beautiful day it was we decided to ride back to Westmead via paths and ended up showing Garry the Windsor Rd path with the newer section recently completed by The Hills Shire Council between Memorial Drive and Showground Road. There are a lot of great paths in the Hills, just need some more feeder paths to new Metro stops.
